Works Once and that's it!

Post by LouisJJames »

UltraVNC seems to be almost what the doctor ordered. In every case, I have been able to get UltraVNC to work except one. Here's the scenario:

Windows 2K Pro with all the Updates and installed RC18 on the system. The first time I can connect without any problem but if I disconnect, I can not. If I reboot the computer (actually someone there does it), I can not login until someone gets past the Windows Logon. (This is not true for any other W2K Pro system).

I've uninstalled and reinstalled but no luck. I've made sure the video drivers are installed. I've reinstalled the service. Zippo on the effect. And I have no firewall on the computer.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using the viewer, web ?

You can not connect ? Does it crash the viewer/server
Is the password set for service the same as for the user ?

If not a crash

+enable logging (props server)
Running as service, the file goes in the system23 directory
+check event viewer for events
