Hi,
both machines are W2k Pro, with UltraVNC 1.0.1.
After right password UltraVNC close, and I can try to run it again, and again.
Nothing more happen, after some try it rejects the connection, but nothing more.
:| How can I leave UltraVNC running after succesfull logging?

I checked the connection on the same LAN and it was OK, but now I am on modem and it happens as described above.

Do you use MS-Logon I or II?
What's the message in the eventlog?
I assume that the viewer is closing, not the server?
Do you use a local account on the machine for authentication or a domain account?
If it's a domain account, is the domain accessible from the machine with the UltraVNC server?

Server is on W2kPro, use only the first MSLogOn, not the second one.
It is only a member on workgroup not a domain.

I am now at server-all is here OK, as I wrote earlier. Only the viewer was not able to open a window after accepting the password.

In ConfigureMS LogOn I checked all -local and domain- in the first group to which belong the account.
In MSlogon.log was this:
e.g.
24/10/2005 23:38 Connection received from 213.*.*.* using A* account
nothing else -beside the wrong tries from my side.


P.S.: I have not connection to net the whole day, also I need a PC connected to net which can done all network-work after becoming couple of commands from other PC connected with a modem to net. Therefore I cannot response timely to your questions.

but I can only see the main screen with open -Unlock Computer-window and I can only close it.
And I have only updated the machine. I have not mentioned, that at the server side was yesterday only fresh installation W2kPro with SP4rollback1, but now are there other update packs too (.framework,..) and an antivirus ...
