I have a training room setup with Ultra VNC and am happy with the configs. Here is what I want to do, but I am not sure how.
I am viewing another users desktop. I do not want to move the users cursor, but I would LIKE to be able to move a pointer (another cursor-like object) on the screen to show the user where to click. Is this possible. I would of course be able to toggle it on and off so that I could take control if I need to.
Right now I can go to view only mode, but that does not help me as I cannot even move the remote cursor.
Any Ideas?
Thank you in advance,
Kevin

A pointer, but not the cursor on remote machine.
you have a different style of cursor variable for viewer
-vncviewer
-nocursor
-dotcursor
-normalcursor (arrow)

VNC doesn't do this but that's a pretty cool idea... hmmm...Kevink wrote:I do not want to move the users cursor, but I would LIKE to be able to move a pointer (another cursor-like object) on the screen to show the user where to click.
Create a new object, re-interpret viewer mouse movements to locate the object on the server desktop, switch back to interpreting them as mouse control when bit is toggled off... just might be do-able...
