Sluggish Text Transfer

Why is entering text to another computer (e.g. notepad or Nero) via UltraVNC so sluggish? When I hit the 'backspace' key to erase a few characters or replace them, it doesn't show up until I click something else. Clicking graphical buttons to execute commands is fine. What's wrong with text? Is it something to do with the settings again?

While we're at it... what's the absolute BEST settings for UltraVNC so every conceivable feature is available? :)

I'm using it to connect to another PC on my home network via a router so connection speed shouldn't be a problem.

Well victor I think it has to do with screen refreshes. I notice that problem at times.

Are both your Boxes win2k or XP?

If so download and install the mirror driver. it will speed up your connection in a LAN quite a bit. I have had good luck with it and I hope that you will too..:)
