viewer side sees local ip of asking side

Post by skruiper »

Hi Guys,

First of, great product been looking for this one for some time!
I have a problem connecting from a computer behind a transparent squid proxy server. The receiving side sees a incoming connection but with the private ip of the connecting side. When I agree to take over the computer UVNC keeps opening in the same session.

Both machines running XP SP2 with firewall disabled, on receiving side a NAT router with port 5500 TCP forwarded to receiving machine. Used standard helpdesk.txt with just ip modification.

I've searched this forum but didn't find the answer maybe one of you guru's knows the solution?? :D

Squid proxy maybe sending out the listening port on the wrong port number. Is there a way to make your squid proxy foward port 5500 to 5500??
