Hello,
just asking something, that might be helpful. Till now I run vnc listener mode on a computer with a static ip. I tell my clients, that the should connect to this static ip with single click.
What I do then is that I connect to this PC, where the listener is running with my notebook via vnc viewer.
I do this that way, because I can remote control the clients from everywhere without changing something. The disadvantege is, that the speed is rather low (I see with the viewer what vnc listener is seeing from the singleclick client)
Is there a possibillity to make up a tool that makes the same. I just think about a kind of connector. I believe, that this would help a lot of users.
Sorry for my bad english

Do you mean like a dynamic DNS service (NoIP.com or dynamicDNS.com) so your IP stays the same and they can put in company.noip.com ? or something to that effect?
When your clients use SC since you have a static IP address - they shouldnt have to do anything besides double click the icon and it can directly connect (if you have it set up to directly connect).

If you install VNC server on your SUPPORT computer and port forward 5800 to the computer you can contol you SUPPORT computer via html webpage, just ensure you do the correct settings for security. so only you can access your Support computer while you are out.
I have not tried this my self...sorry
Let me know if this works ... i have one more trick.
BUT.... in any case it still will be slow since you will have two remote connections to one computer and bandwidth consumption.
Regards
Donald
