hello,
1. any one can tell if uvnc.com repeater is still up, or down?
2. SIII is a quite good solution. I could successfully use SCIII.
But there are two situations will kick me out :
a. if I do not touch my mouse for period of time during connectin
b. or if close the vncviewer_crash_fix connection, then sciii_test4
at server site will disappear , then I need to call server to restart
sciii_test4.... : ((
thanks. Oct. 04, 2005

How to keep connection always up all the time?
SCIII when die (closed by vncviewer request)
SCIII when idle waiting viewer connect to repeater, can't reconnect to repeater
there actually missing feature "-autoreconnect" to SCIII

.
Do you mean SCIII_test4.exe?
I tried to create my own repeater by distributer5.exe, and run winvnc.exe in server by adding helpdesk.txt as " -id 12345 -sslproxy -autoreconnect -connect 203.67.147.124:443 -noregistry".
But it still disappears while idle.
any chance to config my own repeater without kicked me out?

Petersea,
I am not sure what you are trying to do with SCIII it is still in beta form..
I created mine with the following site
http://sc.uvnc.com/SCIII/
This is the basic settings for SCIII ( will be changing shortly if the developers fing more help))
[quote]
loopback ports used
server
59000
99911
viewer
59001
99912
outgoing
443 or http proxy (8080)
repeater
loopback ports
5901 5500 (settings)
listen
443
The repeater need to have 443 direct connected to the internel (or Nat forwarded)
Server and viewer use 443 or proxy port (outgoing)
No checking for open ports --> terminate application
NO pem key repeater --> terminate repeater
-id XXXX -sslproxy -connect repeater_ip:443 -noregistry
ONLY THIS SYNTAX works
NO pem KEY (repeater) OR PORTS IN USE --> CRASH
/Quote
Looks like you may not be using Port 443:)
Features will be added soon I am sure but you may want to stick with SCI or SCIII if you are having issues with SCIII.

Bevtech,
Very nice to receive your reply.
I am very enjoy using SCIII and this is only free tool which can help me break through our comany firewall.
(although ever tried Network Streaming and GoToMyPC and work, but cost a lot )
SCI and SCII do not work in our environment and only port 443 ok.
I am not familiar with the settings, but I am sure I completely using those programs from the web link you indicated and should use 443 I think.
I need to support our users remotely by using SCIII and hope 100% free to connect whenever I want to check their problems. Currently SCIII runs prettry good
but only the issue that will kick me out if I let my mouse not move a few minutes WHEN I go to toilet or chat with colleagues. : ((
I hope the parameter or arguments to keep SCIII_test4 connection all the time if possible.
thanks.

you need to use vnc viewer 1.3beta that send a few bytes every x seconds for let connection active when vnc server is minimized or inactive.I hope the parameter or arguments to keep SCIII_test4 connection all the time if possible.
topic about vncviewer13BET and feedback only about this beta.
