Running winvnc.exe with my own settings

Post by jclevien »

Hello,

My name is Juan, I am new to the forum.

I am testing winvnc.exe, and works ok for my needs! :)
Now I would like to run it from the command line.
The scenario is this:

I am building an application which will include winvnc.exe for remote assistance. The application will run winvnc.exe in the background (with NO windows appearing on the screen), so to achieve that I decided to run it as a service. Ok. But for the first time, appears the configuration screen in which you must include the initial parameters for winvnc.exe. Of course, I DO NOT want it to appear.

Is there a way to configure totally the winvnc.exe using some configuration files, or the like?

Thank you for your answers.
Regards,

Juan

Set it how you want and then export the registry settings to a reg file. You can then import them silently using the /s option with regedit.

Search on registry settings and you should find all the keys listed.

look at vnc-related products

there a few software that help you to install vnc server preconfigured to another computer on your LAN or VPN
