Automating logons with Microsoft authentication

Post by SUSANVV »

I was able to create an automatic logon using UltraVNC password authentication. We are going to Microsoft Authentication. Is there any way I can create a script, .vnc or whatever to automate logging on. I use the automated logging process to have remote computers log on at night to download files. TIA for any help.

Hi,
I am new and trying to just get the vnc login going; can you tell me how, or where there are clear instructions (The FAQ and docs don't seem to say?).
Sorry I can't help you...

OK, thanks!
The problem was that I was not instructed anywhere to "turn off" MS Logon. - All working now, thanks; something else for the FAQ?

The problem was that I was not instructed anywhere to "turn off" MS Logon.
for MS Logon authentication
user need just remember is not possible to save password to UltraVNC 1.0 without an external tool like autoit

for VNC password
well, known bug already reported
so I ask this bug to select VNC password or MS Logon and not complementary option like [X] but (X)

Auto It

Post by CarlRodabaugh »

So, go download autoit, for free, install it, and make a new script.

---autoit script file----
Run("C:\Program Files\UltraVNC\vncviewer.exe")
sleep (1000)

Send("pc_name{ENTER}")

SLEEP(800)
Send("user{TAB}")
Send("password{ENTER}")
---end of script file---

save it, minus the --- lines, replace the necessary info, compile it (rt click on it, choose compile) and run it. (works great when you are using the ms authentication.)

Done.
