UltraVNC will connect within the SBS2000 LAN between workstations but the above error is displayed when using viewer from outside the network.
The port 5900 is open on the network server for my remote IP address to go straight to a dedicated workstation.
On the remote, when attempting to connect the transmission window doesn't show any traffic movement either.

When you say networ server- do you mean Router or Firewall?atrium wrote:UltraVNC will connect within the SBS2000 LAN between workstations but the above error is displayed when using viewer from outside the network.

If not you need to open up the Router or Firewall port to go to your dedicated workstation.
