Full screen VNC Viewer in secondary display possible?

Post by NikkiYahew »

Hi,

I run a second monitor from my notebook. I have tried but without success to make vnc running in fullscreen in the secondary display. Is there a solution to this or this is something haven't be fixed/added yet?

Thx much.

I was going to ask the very same thing. Moderators, should this thread be moved to the bug section?

It certainly would be nice to be able to fullscreen on a secondary display. As it is now, when attempting to fullscreen on a secondary display, the fullscreen bar appears on the primary display and the window disappears. When you "restore down" to windowed mode, the entire window is black and doesn't recover. You have to close the viewer and reconnect.

MaxiVista use this feature of video hook driver help from RDV soft (aka Rudi De Vos software)

I think would be added or fixed maybe later to 1.x.x or V2?

basic question for any help....
(everybody don't know your OS and service pack or release build of viewer/winvnc ;-)
Don't forget RC version server/viewer and their OS
and step by step how to reproduce them
UltraVNC 1.0.9.6.1 (built 20110518)
OS Win: xp home + vista business + 7 home
only experienced user, not developer

Thanks, Redge, I forgot to add that info. My configurations for this occurrence are a combination of WinXP and Win2000 (happens on both), all running v1.0.1 or at least v1.0.0, and most importantly I do NOT use the video hook driver on the servers.
