Now I'm totally baffled... I had everything working at one site, but now cannot get things working again:
192.168.0.110:5901 is the repeater PC (Win2K3)
NAT forwards 5500 as well as 5901 to 192.168.0.110
Here's my log: (this test was run from within the network...

Repeater issues
Figured it out...
When I made changes to the repeater (uncheck Allow Connection to Server and Refuse Connections to Server and change Restrict access to server port 0 and clicked save the settings appear right, but when I restart the service, the settings revert to the original settings...
Any idea on that?
Thanks!

repeater 1.1.0.4 as service
OS: xp sp2 us
trying your step by step then close and restart repeater_service
no error reading settings.txt to report !
I think you have the one old repeater buggy is included on package UltraVNC 1.0.0 or if not true, give more detail
do you have the same release of your repeater on all 2 place ?
delete your settings.txt then recreate it with repeater ...settings... save
close repeater
net start repeater_service

Please update to repeater to version 1104
http://sc.uvnc.com/rel1.00/updates/
The repeater included in rel100 was the WRONG version.
