Can't connect to ports less than 100
I have noticed a bug in UltraVNC. It won't let you connect on ports less than 100. If you type in 1 for example it will try to connect you to port 5901.
That is no bug, just read the documentation. Ports are adressed as +/- offsets to Standard Port 5900. So if you enter 1 it is 5901.
BTW: Ports below 1024 are mainly used by other daemons (and are given out by IANA), so are not recommended for common use.

reason: see above message of grey[/mod]

Viewer adds "59" before a port number < 100 ???
I have seen this behaviour too, with the viewer adding 59 before a port number < 100, so that e.g. 80 becomes "5980".
I'm confused
How does this reconcile with the FAQ recommendation for ADSL users to use port 80 "which will never be limited as it is used for web browsing" as noted here?
