True Single Click

Post by Alanhalls »

Looking for 2 things, 1 is a way to remove the select screen from the Single click so that becomes in truth single click. I got a version from Help Desk VNC that does it that way, not that it is completely invisible, just where it doesn't require them to click a 2nd thing once launching App.

2nd is wondering if the program that I upload the Custom.zip file to that creates the program is available for download or if it is not part of the open source GPL? I am just that kind of guy that likes to be in control so that if at some point this project dissapears and I change my IP / host name I am not screwed :)

From what I hear, if you only give SC one connection its settings, it will not prompt the user and will auto-connect. So, you'd have to build an SC for each of your connection hosts and have users download the appropriate SC for the connection route.

Alanhalls: you missed one simple thing to make it work the way you want ... add [DIRECT]

Literally from the documentation site: http://doc.uvnc.com/addons/singleclick.html
If you add [DIRECT] and only have 1 [HOST] defined, the menu is not shown and the connection is direct started. (can be usefull for scripting) [DIRECT] doesn't have a parameter line.

Works Great, now that we do that, can I Replace the Big Dialog box with just the Logo and adjust the Time it is shown?

For the 2nd issue you pointed out I tried this and it seems to work.
