Setting up UVNC as service
yes, possible activating winvnc as service after setup was done.
start...All Programs...UltraVNC ... UltraVNC Server...Reinstall WinVNC Service(silent)
start...All Programs...UltraVNC ... UltraVNC Server...Run Service Helper
and right click on systray WinVNC ... Admin Properties...
---Authentication---
VNC password: (put your password again)
why ?
because the password can be different as application and service system
prefer use same password as application and service. (more easy to remember and less problem for yourself)

Brilliant!
The "command line" instructions on the link you posted also help. I missed them somehow.
For anyone else who's interested ...
Once the service has been installed, it does not run straight away - you either have to reboot or start up the service by hand. This is what the UVNC service helper menu item is for - it starts the service (and systray icon/helper).
It seems to ask for a password if one hasn't been set.
<edit> actually I can't get the -servicehelper option or menu item to work ... andy thoughts ... ? </edit>
