Very strange. Thanks for the feedback! I'll look into it.

I assume you mean having the viewer listening and the server connecting to it. In this case, I saw this too when using any dsm plugin I tried.

I don't really test that functionality often since I rarely use it. It has worked in the past. I'll setup some tests with the various plugins to make sure they still work.

M^3, what OS versions were you testing with? Which plugins. Which version of Ultra?

WinXP pro SP2 - all updates installed (both machines)
UltraVNC-100-RC205 - I have not yet tried it with the new 1.00 release, but I saw no mention of the issue in the changlog so I didn't try it. I will give it a shot soon.

AESV2plugin.dsm worked for me just now, with the 1.00 release.

Thanks for the feedback. Still haven't tested. Been looking for a job!

I should get around to testing later in the week, unless Redge gets to it first.... That guy is a serious tester! In the good sense of the word.

Redge,

I just tested ARC4 and it worked fine. I was testing with UltraVNC 1.0 and ARC4 002.

vncviewer -listen /dsmplugin arc4plugin.dsm

on the server, already set to arc4. Clicked on Add New Client. Worked great. Make sure you have the server set to use the plugin before you try to connect to the viewer.

Sean,

finally, bug was uncompacting the arc4plugin002.zip with unziping integrated inside xp

unzipped by winrar 3.42 successfully

arc4plug002.dsm work as classic way, reverse
as service and with/without service helper.
never tested myself as user level application.

hope this help anybody can't use any dsmplugin.

I think adding a MD5 checksum and the tool MD5 checker would be a good idea for known is plugin is corrupted or not from zip !

Redge,

I thought the XP compressed folder problem was solved. I guess not. I'm using 7zip. Easy to automate. I'll look into it again.

If I can automate creating MD5 checksums, then I'll add it.
