Virtual graphics drivers

Post by sholzers »

Hi,

after I've searched for ages for some kind of "virtual" graphics drivers I came across this little tool today:

http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/ultr ... p?download

Exactly what I was searching for, GREAT! But:

First, I am only able to install two of those virtual drivers. Is there any possibility to install further drivers? Is there any alternative offer in the meantime for "virtual graphics drivers" by developers @ UltraVNC? Second, some more resolutions would be a good thing...

Thanks a lot for any hints in advance!

kind regards

hi redge,

no, I guess not. Please download the zip-file I've posted in order to compare.

When executing your "driver.zip"-file and choosing "Install", there actually happens nothing at all. No drivers are installed, no GUI pops up, no nothing.[/quote]

But, there's a newer version of this zip file on the http://ultravnc.sourceforge.net/downloads.html page ...

Development of the virtual driver for ultravnc stopped more then 2 years ago.
Ultravnc does not longer use it.

Hi Rudi,

hm, and why is it that I'm not able to install more than two virtual drivers with this old tool?

kind regards

PS: If there is any developer out there who is able to program virtual video drivers, I would love to get in touch with him/her! I will certainly make a good offer! Please contact me via private message!
