Are there any known issues with using the UltraVNC viewer on a Terminal server (Citrix)?
In our scenario it is expected that different users use the viewer at the same time on the same terminal server.

Viewer and Terminal-Server - Any known issues?
Yes I have found an issue
Hi there,
I have found an issue with UltaVNC 20.3 and the Citrix ICA client v.9 Program Neighbourhood. When I have UltraVNC Server & viewer installed and try to fire up an seamless window citrix connection i get the good old MS error screen asking me if i want to send the error to Microsoft (of which i say yes to all of those!!)
Error is:
Faulting application wfica32.exe, version 9.0.32649.0, faulting module wfica32.exe, version 9.0.32649.0, fault address 0x000502de.
Anyway, If i uninstall UltraVNC and reboot all works fine. I think it has more to do with the viewer than the server but this is to be confirmed. I am running this all on a WinXP SP2 PC updated to the latest fixes. XP firewall is off and virus scanner is off. No other indication in the event viewer except that error. What is also very very odd is that I can fire a full desktop fine via citrix. No problem what so ever! Citrix Server is on Presentation Server 4.
So anyone got any ideas??
Thanks
Michael

Citrix Prob
Hi,
I believe that it is the viewer because another PC (same build) only has the UltraVNC Server installed and when I did my test install of the Citrix ICA client the user could connect to citrix apps fine and didn't have a problem at all.
Also earlier today I was in some citrix app fine for 2-3 hours. Had a call and needed to dial in to a users PC via VNC and a few min's after i did then all the citrix apps closed down with the same error before.
One colleague has said it my have something to do with the VNC video driver perhaps. I will try this later.

I can only say, that it shouln't be used for controlling PCs in a LAN - because if the viewer is run locally it's way faster.
Haven't tried however if other viewers have the same TS performance problems.
