IP Address listing choice

Post by xbx14 »

Hello there!

When I run the .exe, should there be any ip addresses listed in the box on the left-hand side to select? My .exe only shows .."Internet support" ..

IP Address listing choice - self answered!

Dear SCers,
Nothing like answering your own question! :P
In the left-hand side of my SC, there are listed the words "Internet support". I had incorrectly understood that a list of IP addresses would appear and I would then click on the appropriate one. I have been vainly clicking on the blank space below the text and receiving error message "No Vnc server selected". I was not aware, until now, that it would work by double clicking right on the text. Bingo!
The only other thing I have found is to ensure the helpdesk.txt points to Port 5500 as that is the port required for UltraVNC Viewer in Listen Mode.
I hope this reply helps someone who may be as confused as I have been for the last month!
Now to email the exe to a friend to try! Wish me Luck!
