Touchscreen input strange behavior

Post by Topo13 »

Hello,

I have a question about a behavior, that seems rather odd to us.
We have an application that is running on a virtualized system and have a Thin Client that access the VM over VNC.
We also have tested the connection method of the Thin Client to the VM with RDP.

We got an HMI with Soft Buttons to jog a drive.
This Button has events for "mouse press" (Start Drive) and "mouse release" (Stop Drive).

What we are now facing is, that if we press the button with one finger, and then for example try to switch the hand and press with another finger, the button gets stuck with VNC, even if I remove the second hand from the screen.

When I do the same thing over RDP, the drive already stops when removing the first hand.
Does VNC has any strange behavior for Multi Touch Displays, even if it is set to Single touch on the thin client?
Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks
