Windows User Account Control prompts not visible when using SC version

Post by Axe6st »

I set up a server, and a SC app for my customers to use. It works well, The user simply downloads the file and clicks to connect and I accept the incoming connection on my end. My problem is that when I do something that requires windows user account control (The prompt asking do you want to let this app make changes to your computer), I don't see the prompt on my end. I can ask the customer to click it for me, but that is not ideal. How can I get that prompt to be forwarded to my screen so I can click it and not have to ask my customer to click it? I did not set it up using encryption.
Any help would be appreciated. I don't do this enough to warrant paying for teamviewer which is why I tried this program. I tried searching the forum but can't find anything on this subject. Thank you.

add
[DIS_UAC]
to helpdesk.txt

This option temporal disable UAC and enable it back when disconnect.
On Connection the user need to allow once and then you can install without the UAC popups.

Another way would be that the user start SC with runsas admim

Thank you. I tried having my customer right click and run as administrator, but that did not work.
Hopefully this will. It may be a few days to weeks before I can test this with a customer.
