Reconnection Isue

Post by emilioalc21 »

Hi.

I'm using several UVNC servers and a repeater in Linux, most of the time the system is working well, but once one of the UVNC servers got disconnected and after a few seconds reconnect (I'm using a wifi connection, and the devices loose coverage in some areas), the behavior became unstable, what I can see in the repeater log is a lot of messages: "Similar server ID already there" and "Duplicate ID string found, closing connection ". Just after 10 minutes the repeater disconnect the server for inactivity and finally is available to connect again, is there some way to handle reconnections in a better way? otherwise, I have to wait up to 10 minutes after a reconnection to get the service available again.

Best Regards!
