Send "Print Screen" key to VNC server

Normally pressing PRINT-Screen key requests a full screen update (same as selecting "Request Screen Refresh" from the system menu).

Is it possible to simply send the "print screen" / "PrtScrn" / "Druck" key to a vnc server without requesting screen update?
