how to start server properties input window from cmd line?

Post by TheBigBear »

I have ultravnc server installed on a windows server 2022 core install ( no desktop experience installed, but Server Core App Compatibility Feature on Demand IS installed ).

So the installer works well.

But I have no GUI taskbar and therefore can't right click and choose "Admin Properties".

Is there a way to trigger or bring up the Window "Admin Properties" any other way? So i can set the passwords or configure the MS Logon or New MS Logon screen?

Or failing that, can I tell the winvnc server to read some registry key(s) or ini file to know how to let vncviewers connect and which authentication to allow.

Thanks for any help.

Dohh, there is an exe for that! "uvnc_settings.exe" brings up the Admin Properties just fine.
