msi format for latest version?

Post by jonathan2260 »

Hello.

I would like to install UltraVNC using GPO.
The latest version as far as I can see that has an msi file seems to be 1.2.4.0.
Is there another location where I can find the latest version with the msi format?

Thank you.

Sorry for the late response. With the holidays I had other stuff that too my time and I forgot to check back but thanks for making it so quickly.
I never thought you'd do it that fast or I would have paid more attention.

I'm checking it out now.

And?

Might be nice to roll that into the next version. Maybe call it 1.3.7 final or 1.3.8. Then just freeze out any new additions, and focus on fixing bugs and speed and security. These are really what needs to be the most basic of any software these days.

Thank you for your hard work on this project.

Hi there.
Took me a few days to figure out how to configure it on our domain. It seems to work fine.
I gotta say, the documentation on how to install with GPO and make it secure is spread around so that took me a while to understand and put together.
I also wonder if it's worth documenting this in a way. Maybe a Youtube tutorial.

When you make another version I'll have to see if GPO can update.

And thank you for taking the time to put the MSI together.
BTW, shouldn't it be posted on the download with the other packages, or were you waiting on my feedback?
If you were waiting on me I think it's good to go.
