Hi,
Is it possible to use windows key in windows 10 from vncviewer?
I wish to use some shortcut combinations like Windows key + D , to clear windows on screen and see desktop background directly however vncviewer does not pass the windows key to server.
I can do with anydesk but could not figure out how to do it with uvnc.
Thanks,
Burzek

Using windows key combination
Re: Using windows key combination
Enable Scroll-Lock on your keyboard.
By enabling/disabling Scroll-Lock you can easily switch between passing through special keys or applying them locally. Usually this does not create any conflicts as scroll-lock isn't very widely used in application software nowadays. Excel probably being the most commonly used one where scroll-lock changes the way the cursor keys act (either moving the highlighted cell or moving the viewport).

Re: Using windows key combination
Hi Burzek,
unforunately the Scroll-Lock hint is not working for all Windows Key combinations.
As an example Windows key + L is not working. This is processed to the local desktop.
Are there some other options to send an Lock-Screen = Windows+L to the UltraVNC Client Session?
Thanks
Jens

You can configure UVNC server to lock the workstation on disconnect. So it locks automatically.
If you want to lock without disconnect you might just press Win+R or select "Run" from start menü or paste the following into the search box of start menu or on the command prompt:
You can also create a shortcut with the command-line above so you can simply click the shortcut to lock the workstation.
