Hi forum,
I have a VNC server with full HD resolution and a VNC client with 4K resolution.
Can I set the server to a virtual resolution of 4K?
With TurboVNC, something similar seems to be (almost?) possible:
...does this also work with UltraVNC?
With the server I am limited to UltraVNC, because I have no admin rights on the server, and because UltraVNC is already installed on the server. Can I access the UltraVNC server also with the TurboVNC client?
Thanks for tips

Can a fullHD server be set to a virtual resolution of 4K?
Re: Can a fullHD server be set to a virtual resolution of 4K
I'm not familiar with TurboVNC, but [any] VNC on Windows connects to screens/monitors that already exist. There is a virtual monitor now available in uVNC that likely has a lot of size options available, but I haven't used it myself yet. I would assume the option in the screenshot is to match the client to the display size of the server and not to set the display size of the server, but you can always test it to see.
Any version of VNC can connect to any other version of VNC, however additional features will be disabled if both sides do not support it identically.
