UltraVNC 1.2.4.x crashes w/ user elevation changes

Post by ShadowLord »

Hello,

There seems to be two new issue w/ the viewer for UltraVNC 1.2.4.0.

1. Using this UltraVNC Viewer when I connect to a remote machine and I perform an action that requires user privilege elevation, e.g. run a setup program, the viewer shuts down and closes. I have to then log in back to the remote machine and continue the setup program. I am running UltraVNC Server 1.2.4.0 on the remote machine and UltraVNC Viewer 1.2.4.0 on the local machine.

2. The dialog box confirming if I want to run the program is shrunken horizontally (i.e. only half the dialog box can be seen so the yes/no buttons are not visible).

This appears to be a Viewer issue only. Connecting to the same remote machine with an older Viewer (say 1.2.2.3) does not exhibit these issues.

Both machines are Windows 7 x64 machines. Thank you.

EDIT: Forgot to add remote machine has mirror driver installed.

Bumping this up... No one else is seeing this serious bug? It basically makes UltraVNC unusable in this version...
