SC and SecureVPN Plugin

Post by vtach3743 »

Hi,

We've been using SC with the RC4 key for awhile and I'd like to move to the SecureVNCPlugin key as it's more secure, but I'm having trouble getting it working. Here is what I did.

Generated the key in VNCViewer.
Copied the Server_ClientAuth.pubkey into the support.zip file and had the online creator make the .exe
The Viewer_ClientAuthkey.pkey I copied into the UltraVNC folder
Start the viewer using the command line:
vncviewer -listen -SecureVNCPlugin.dsm

When I run SC and try to connect, it thinks and on the viewer screen I get a message box with:

Server closed connection
-Manual closed
-Network Disconn

Any help in figuring out what I've configured incoorectly would be helpful.

Thanks

Please see
https://www.uvnc.com/downloads/single-c ... loads.html

Latest download
win10 Same as pevious, but exe request UAC on start
-Added support for the SecureVNCPlugin
Howto
*Add SC_Server_ClientAuth.pubkey to zip
helpdesk.txt
[HOST]
Internet support new encryption
-secureplugin -connect localhost:5500 -noregistry
Viewer
Make sure the viewer use also SecureVNCPlugin.dsm and call the viewer key SC_Viewer_ClientAuth.pkey
if only one pkey exist you don't have to rename it.
It need to be SC_Server_ClientAuth.pubkey, only supported name.
