UltraVNC 1.2.2.4 regularly crashes when trying to reconnect

Post by FrankBerlin »

Hello,

UltraVNC 1.2.2.4 regularly crashes when trying to reconnect

I'm using UltraVNC on Win7 to connect to and OpenSuse Leap 15 server.

I usually create persistent visible sessions, because only these ensure that the Virtual box machines and other applications keep running when disconnecting. Non-persistent sessions kill all running processes.

Unfortunately, UltraVNC always crashes when I try to reconnect a persistent session on my OpenSuse server. The crash happens immediately after I have entered my login name and my (correct) password and obviously when your software tries to re-connect to the server.

Here is the error protocol:

Is there any way to use UltraVNC properly so that it successfully reconnects to existing sessions?

Best regards
