MultiMonitor Viewer problem

Post by Andrew Henry »

Saw this in 1.2.1.3 and 1.2.2.4:

My primary monitor (Monitor #1 in Windows 10) has a lower vertical resolution (1080p) than my secondary monitor. When I launch the viewer unscaled, it will come up with a vertical scrollbar on the primary monitor, and I can see the whole server screen. If I then move the viewer to the secondary monitor (1600x1200) and resize the viewer window to show the whole screen, the bottom ~170 pixels aren't drawn, they stay black. This is basically the area that would be forced to be scrolled out of view on the primary monitor.

The workaround is to toggle fullscreen on and off after switching monitors.

Saving size and position on the secondary monitor triggers the same behavior, so I assume the viewer window is still referencing the primary screen before moving to the saved position.

Yep, i know the viewer doesn't use the position screen parameters.
But you can select in the viewer screen (dropdown box near bottom) to start on the second monitor. In that case the viewer use
the second monitor size as refference.

Wow, I had looked all over the options screen for a monitor selection and it was staring me in the face the whole time...

The "monitor zero" option that should have the highest vertical space (4816x1235) still cuts off some of the screen, but if I select the highest-res monitor (1600x1200) it does work.
