How to not get hacked

Hi guys.
I am not really that much of a technie so sorry if i missed imoortsmt points in protecting myself.

I have uvnc and had a good password set (admin properties is where I placed the pw - don’t know if there is another location. . Apparently, I got hacked and I don’t know how!
They were accessing my Amazon and PAYPAL and used my funds...

Firewall is turned off and virus protection is off so I can access viewer if I need to from my phone or another pc.

Can I add another layer of password? Is there such thing or possibly only allow my phone or specific computer to view this computer that got hacked. I had to close port for now cause I’m terrified of not being able to protect it properly.

Use the enceryption plugin with strong password or key.

Make sure you select a plugin

Press config and add a long password (passphrase)

Alternative you can create a key, after creation you need to cop the viewer key to the same folder as vncviewer.exe


Start the Viewer with encryption enabled

Your post shows SecureVNC plugin 2.4.0.0, but the SecureVNC site only has 2.3 (from 2010). Where can we get the newer version?
