I have a windows 2003 Server with a failed service message popup at startup. The event viewer says:
The vnccom service depends on the vncdrv service which failed to start because of the following error:
The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it.
This happened after I attempted to install the Mirror Driver. The mirror driver doesn't seem to be installed any more on this server and I'm not quite sure how to eliminate this message for the future.
Basically at this point I need to wipe all traces of this mirror driver from the system to ensure there's no startup errors. Is there a procedure I can follow to ensure the driver is not loaded, and also not attempted to ever be loaded again (it seems to cause more problems than it fixes in Server 2003. Thank you!

Re: VNCCOM Service Failed to Start
The first driver a 15 year ago had a vnccom service..even can't remember how it was installed and uninstalled.
-regedit and search vnccom and remove the service key
-possible you find the service in services list, then you just need to startup type to manual so it never start on boot.
