i know that when using ms login and ms login ii we are going for better security.
and i wouldn't want to store my user/pass combination in any resulting .vnc file.
but i'm wondering about something...
in windows xp when i attempt to access a network resource, my windows login credentials are automatically given to that resource, and i am either authenticated or denied - in either case it is fully automated.
now what i'm curious about is... if i am logged in with credentials that match a remote system's ms login ii user/pass - why can't ultr@vnc automatically send my current windows login credentials and attempt to automatically log me in?
i just think this would be more palletable for admins out there that desparately want to use ms login ii in large network environments - but hate the idea of having to manually authenticate to each server.
if my current windows login information doesn't match the ms login ii information, at that point it should ask me for a user/pass combination.
so i guess my question is: can ultr@vnc viewer be changed so that it will attempt to automatically authenticate a user based on their current login/pass for windows?
this would certainly follow more of a "windows standard" for user/group access to network resources.

ok, stupid question time...
This is very high on the wishlist.
BUT: This requires a change in the protocol.
It won't be compatible with mslogon (I and II).
It requires an enormous change on both the server and the viewer side.
JavaViewer won't work with this new logon method.
So I thought that I should not start this before having v1.0 out.
