Post by Cebit »

Уважаемые, подскажете решение проблемы.
Сервер uvnc на windows 10 с повернутым на 90 градусов изображением.
На клиенте не переворачивается изображение и отображается криво, управлять невозможно.

На win 7 и 8 проблем нет.

I am having the same issue. In windows 10 when the display is rotated 90 degrees, it doesn't look correct in the viewer. The viewer screen ends up still being landscape and the mouse cursor is misaligned. I have tested out the realvnc server software and it works fine with the uvnc viewer, so it is something to do with the uvnc server.

I have the same problem. My main screen is horizontal, but my secondary screen is rotated to be vertical, when I connect it flashes the correct orientations, but then flips the secondary screen back to a horizontal view, which partially overlaps the main monitor (and they update overtop of each other depending on what is being moved). I tried this with both TightVNC server and UltraVNC and I get the same result. There's something weird going on with VNC.

This is on a completely fresh installation of Window 10 Pro, NVidia GTX660 GPU (latest driver). I had this working before I reformatted, and this is really annoying me. :surprise:

EDIT: I sort of fixed it by installing the Video Hook Driver: http://forum.ultravnc.info/viewtopic.ph ... 1786350cac
The screen still flashes a weird orientation, but then goes back to the proper view.

Same Problem here. I build up a new PC with Intel E3 Xeon with integrated Graphics. After Win10 x64 Installation is done, the first tool i installed was UltraVNC 64 Bit, but i noticed that my rotated Root Screen was unrotated in UVNC but obviously only the Graphics, Mouse Navigation seems to be rotated. Then i tried the 32 Bit Version, with same Effects. :-(

The Video Hook Driver won't install for some reason...

I need UVNC very much one this machine, and i don't want to use RDP. So it would be very nice to fix this Problem.

Greetings from Germany
Mike

P.S.: I apologise my poor English.

yeah, it works! thank you very much!

would be great if inverted portrait mode are supported as well!? because in inverted portrait mode (rotate 270 degrees) the Screen will be shown right, but the mouse behavior is turned on 180 degrees.

I'm using UVNC on W10 (3 servers) with W7 (viewer) in which the servers are in Portrait (flipped). The flipped mode is required since the 86" portrait monitors require that orientation. The client displays upside down and the mouse is reversed. Testing separately, I find that if I change the server from unflipped to a flipped mode during a session, it works properly for the duration of a session. However once I close the session and open a session again, it initially displays properly on the client side, but after a few seconds, flips upside down and the mouse action is reversed. Release 1.2.1.2
