UltraVNC Notification

Just wanted to say thanks for the program (first thing) - I have been using it for years.

Just wondering besides the taskbar notification or Desktop Background changing when a Support Person like myself remotes into a client.

Is there a way to make a pop up show up on the screen to let the user know that I am remotely logged into their system with UltraVNC.

I am using the latest Stable Version of Ultra VNC 1.2.0.6, I have use the chat option, but I would like something slightly different where it would tell the user who was connected, and maybe some contact information to contact me if need be.

I have search over the internet of running an opening a file once the viewer connected.- I was even thinking of running notepad once connected with the details as above.

If others have accomplished this, please let me know.

Hello guys.

I have installed the 1.2.1.0 version and would like to know if you have to show to the remote computer accessed whom is connected. As a pop-up window. Where can I set this? There is a possibility of it?

There is no permanent popup telling who is connected

1) You can ask permission on connect via a popup
2) Right click trayicon -> List viewers show ip connected viewers

I'm currently running version 1.0.962. When I go into the config, I enter a custom message under accept_reject-mesg= yet the default is still shown when a connection is attempted, what am I doing wrong?

accept_reject_mesg=A member of the IT Dept. is attempting to connect...
