WinVNC.log file size limit on settings

Post by narbig »

Please there is a possibility on Settings under Logging that you can add an option to limit the size of the log file (WinVNC.log). This request is because I found that on one of my computers the log file (WinVNC.log) size was 1.6 GB, did not even notepad could open the file.

Thanks for your great program.

I also join the given question. Or give an example lines in WinVNC.log to limit or cancel record of a log-file.
Thanks.

close winvnc and open notepad with Run as computer administrator
and modifiy ultravnc.ini

DebugLevel=0
DebugLevel indicates how much debug information to present.
Any positive integer is valid. Zero indicates that no debugging
information should be produced and is the default. A value of
around 10-12 will cause full debugging output to be produced
DebugMode=0
Run-time logging of all internal debug messages is now
supported. Log data may be output to a file or a console window
or the MSVC debugger if the program was compiled with debugging
active.)
