Unable to connect? (new installation)
Hi everyone. Forgive me if this question has already been answered. I just installed the newest VNC client/server on two PCs on my home network. I can ping the PC I want to connect to but when I try to connect using VNC it gives me an error. It says "authentication rejected". I created a password to use on both the PC I am using to connect and the one I am connecting to. What am I doing wrong?

Re: Unable to connect? (new installation)
The password is stored in the ultravnc.ini file.
What you can do:
Copy winvnc.exe to a temp folder ( local pc)
Run winvnc from that folder.
On start winvnc ask to set a password and create a new ultravnc.ini file in that folder.
Try to connect vncviewer.exe to the localhost ( server and viewer on the same pc)
You can use this ultravnc.ini on the remote pc, overwrite the ultravnc.ini in the program files.
