Here are the steps I am following.
Code: Select all
1) Run I:\installs\UltraVNC\1.0.9.6.1\UltraVNC_1.0.9.6.1_Setup.exe
2) Click “OK” to select English as your language
3) Click “Next” at the “Welcome to the UltraVNC Setup Wizard” window
4) Click “I accept the agreement” and then click “Next”
5) Click “Next” at the information screen
6) Click “Next” to select the destination (Leaving the default)
7) Drop down the combobox and select “UltraVNC Server Only” then click “Next”
8) Click “Next” to select start menu folder (Leaving the default)
9) Click “Next” for optional add-ons (Leaving the default)
10) Click “Next” for the Mirror Driver (Leaving the default)
11) Select all Additional tasks except “Create UltraVNC desktop icons” then click “Next”
12) Click “Install”
13) Click “Next”
14) Click “Finish”
15) At this point the “UltraVNC Server Property Page” should open. Change the following settings then click “Apply”, then Click “Ok”
a. Remove both “VNC Password” and “View-Only Password”
b. Under “DSM Plugin” check “Use” and select “SecureVNCPlugin.dsm” from the list
c. Under Misc check
i. “Enable Alpha-Blending Monitor Blanking”
ii. Capture Alpha-Blending
iii. DisableTrayIcon
iv. Forbid the user to close down WinVNC
16) An error message will appear warning you that incoming connections will not be accepted because you don’t have a password set.
17) Leaving that error up, open C:\Program Files\UltraVNC\uvnc_settings.exe
18) Click the “Authentication” tab
19) Clear both passwords and click “Disable Authentication” then click “Save to ultravnc.ini”
20) Click “Yes” to the error that comes up
21) Click “Quit”
22) Copy
I:\installs\Mukwonago Remote Console\Server Key\20120110_Server_ClientAuth.pubkey
to
C:\Program Files\UltraVNC\
23) Restart the system.
24) At this point you should be set to remote control this PC using Mukwonago Remote Console.
Any help you can provide would be VERY appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Taylor
