Exactly how to make SC work in Windows Server 2008R2 64bit?

Post by u634410 »

The host to be controlled is Windows Server 2008R2 Standard 64bit, located in server room.
The listening viewer is Windows 7 Professional 32bit.
The usage scenario will be that, from my office PC I remote-desktop-connect to the server using windows-built-in RDP client. Then in the RDP session I run UVNC-SC to call software contractor to do things on my server.
This way contractor jobs get done without interfering with network admin department's policy of no port-forwarding into LAN.

The content of helpdesk.txt (text, title, etc. excluded) can be viewed at http://recruit.taipower.com.tw/testSite/helpdesk.txt
I uploaded my zip containing the helpdesk.txt through "UltraVncSC update 2011" section of
http://c.uvnc.com/downloads/single-clic ... loads.html and got back the exe.
Then as stated above I ran the exe in RDP session, with or without closing RDP client after VNC connection established. (both tried and same results)
Viewer successfully woke up and started displaying server screen.
The problem is, input only works for a few seconds.
The screen soon stops responding to subsequent clicks and keystrokes.
Through RDP client the server remains totally fine and operable.

Anything wrong with my setup procedure? Any suggestion?
Help would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance.
