Single Click - Unable to view some programmes

Post by SimonJ »

Hello Everyone

I am using Ultravnc Viewer in "Listen" mode on a Win XP PC

I use sc (compiled today using the latest compiler) to connect to the Viewer PC - this is a win 7 laptop. If I open an explorer window on the sc server laptop I can see it ok on the viewer pc, similarly if I open pdf files they can be seen too. However if I open Mozilla Firefox or Thunderbird on the SC server PC, the programmes open but I cannot see them on the View PC i.e. the PC I would be using to view/control a remote PC.

Is this something to do with the Mirror Drivers? My Viewer PC is an old XP box, are the mirror drivers compatible? How do I run the viewer without the mirror drivers as a test?

With grateful thanks for any advice or suggestions.
Kind regards
Simon

Update

If I run the SC and connect to the viewer with Mozilla Thunderbird and/or Firefox already open, I can see the programs on the Viewer PC and control them from the Viewer pc.

Mirror drivers are installed on the server PC, viewer doesn't use it.
SC doesn't have a mirror driver buildin, if you need it, it need to be installed manual. ( For SC it's a little overkill)
Unless you installed it manual, it isn't used...

Possible it is caused by disabling Aero via SC ( default behaviour)

You can tell the config not to disable Aero by adding
