Only a local Administrator can connect?

Post by Squebel »

We're trying to deploy UltraVNC into part of our environment and I've run into a snag on one box. It's a Win2000 Server SP4 domain member running the same UltraVNC and configuration that other boxes are using successfully. I've got the New MS Logon set on all the boxes including this one. But this guy in particular will only allow users to connect if the creditials supplied are those of a local administrator.

Has anyone run into this problem and any suggestions on fixing it?

Sorry if this has already been asked, but I couldn't find what I was lookin for. Thanks!

Maybe there is a difference with either Group Policies or Local Policy.
MS-Logon II qualifies as "network logon".
There are policy settings which allow/deny network logon to certain groups.
