No rollout for me

Post by malwarebegone »

I've been setting up a VNC network for a customer, using UVNC and aesv2plugin. The test installs all seemed to work. Today was roll-out day - or should have been. None of my connections seems to work today, unless I disable the use of the plugin. With the plugin selected, it hangs, displaying "Password Accepted" in the Status window. If I close the server program, the viewer PCs will get a cascade of "Connection Failed" windows, 1 for each failed attempt, even if I have used Task Manager to kill the hung instances of the Viewer application. These hung instances seem to affect further trials, however, so I have been doing a lot of rebooting (and cussing) today.

I know that today is the 13th; does that explain why encryption suddenly doesn't work?

UVNC Server Version 1.0.2, Viewer Version 1.0.2, Plugin Version 1.2.0
Downloaded last week from SourceForge.

Can anyone help explain this mystery?
