Yeh, I know the limitations, that's why this product looked so darned good.

I could have got around the remote initiate problem by remotely running the server's executable from the viewer computer after starting the viewer, but I could not get the vnc hook display driver to load either, even after ...

Now that I have this working I realise....

Now that I have this working I realise that the remote server has to initiate connection.

The reason I wanted to use this is becuase the directx support and screen refresh is supposed to be great on the LAN.
But, if I have to initate the remote from the server all the time it is of little use to me ...

I only want to use my local network at the moment. I have no firewall on the server. It is not that. I need to know what that error message states.
Is there a way of logging all errors?

Which folder do I take this file from.

I will post it tomorrow as it is getting late now.

But just to say, I have tried direct and no others. uPNP is also switched off cos it didn't work.

If I could even find out what the messagebox says on the top left of the screen when it has an error, I could ...

I have no idea what I AM DOING. i HAVE BEEN RUNNING VNC FOR YEARS BUT THIS PCHELPWARE IS DRIVING ME NUTS. oNLY REASON i AM USING IT IS COS IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO REDRAW DIRECTX SCREENS FAST.
