and what version of linux are you using for repeater01.ultravnc.info for pchelpware, i would like to give it a try in my virtualbox or VMware, i wanna setup my own repeater but i don't know from where to begin coz my linux knowledge is very limited....i would appreciate any pointer...tnx

We moved to PCHW from VNC SC, for Vista support. We find it is a bit slower than VNC SC. If the end user has a slow/marginal connection, PCHW seems to be noticeably slower than VNC SC. Who is going to make the request for connection? By your post it looks like your brother. You will need to port forward on your end. The only port forwarding that need to be done will be on your end if your brother starts the connection with PCHElpware or VNC SC.
