In the repeater window I can configure the repeater (Mode, IP adresses, ID...). Is it possible to configure the repeater with commands in line like the installation of the repeater used in windows service?

I configure a connexion on computer A: I develop the server with PcHelpWare and the viewer with Petardo method .....: all is OK.

Now I reverse the role: ..... it is impossible to control the computer A and impossible to display the computer A in the pchelpware window with the viewer which is the ...

now think about this.. If you are using a direct connection would not that be ip and port be static and need to be changed if you move it to another computer?? You have to port forward 5500 to the local ip so if you change it it would not work..

Does this problem still exists if you use a repeater ...

PcHelpWare presents a serious problem when you want to use the viewer.
Petardo has described a solution to create a viewer (post [topic=8548][/topic]) : It is good thing to send a viewer programmed to work with a server with the same configurations.

I use my own PchelpWare repeater as service with windows XP on a server. I want to watch the log and to get its log remotly but I don't find any way to get them. Many thanks for your help.

Bevtech, is it possible to create my own repeater on the computer where I use PcHelpWare viewer without this installation brings some disruptions in the use of PcHelpWare ?

When I modify and save helpdesk.txt in the custom directory, and after when I launch the create.bat manuely, the new modified pchelpware_server.exe is copied in the server directory, in myservers directory, but not in the myservers/xxx where xxx is the alias name ! It seems that is an error, yes or ...

Redge, the question is not to mix Pchelpware et UltraVNC, but for me it is the impossibility to launch the repeater of Pchelpware and make a connection with it !

I am in the same position.

If I test PcHelpWare with Redge method ([topic=8395][/topic]), all is good.
But when I want to install my repeater with the same configuration of Karamelos, and I test repeater with my IP wan or no-ip, there is no connection and the repeater is out ?
