ok, so the functionality works as I would like and described - a new connection now disconnects any existing. However, now when I switch between myself and my son connecting one of us gets a blank grey screen when reconnecting and has to connect again to get the proper screen. Is there a timeout or ...

Ah I see....

So I have shared=1 in my viewer settings so change that to shared=0 and then I can use the 'disconnect existing connections' option.

Will give it a try and report back.
