Re: DSM Plugin

alright, thanks guys for the assist. I'll look into all that stuff. Espically since we're gonna want to encrypt our comms. In the meantime, i'm just happier'n a puppy with two peters to be able to connect at all. 3 Cheers.

After tons of comparing and scrounging and troubleshooting it was this simple: - My name was at the bottom of the list - we added another fake user and named it *space, space space* Effectivaly giving no name. - That put my name 2nd to the ...

Re: DSM Plugin

No. As an added bonus, i took my pc home this weekend and formated the HDD and reinstalled Windows XP Pro. Put nothing on it but windows updates, firefox, Adobe reader 7.0.8, AdAware, Spybot, winrar, QUicktime and nero. Took it back to office and installed the UltraVNC-102-Setup.exe, performed a ...

Re: ISA '04 Help

Edit to my own post: We've been testing our remote connection with our ISA '04. We found a better way to do things: In ISA, Create a new protocol (i called ours SCVNC) on port 5500. Then in your Helpdesk.txt instead of putting Local.Client.IP.Address :5500 use the Computer Name and your domain. for ...

Running the viewer in -listen 5500 mode. I've packaged the files without the cipher/encryption file. Only used the bmp's, icons, & helpdesk.txt. I have 4 people in my office and i put the viewer (UltraVNC-102-Setup.exe) on all pc's. Everyone in the office works except me. I get the Connection failed ...

Re: ISA '04 Help

Problem solved. I withdraw my question. Solution for those interested. In the helpdesk.txt, set your users to [HOST] Jane -connect Local.Client.IP.Address:5500 -noregistry [HOST] John -connect Local.Client.IP.Address:5500 -noregistry In ISA, Create a new protocol (i called ours SCVNC) on port 5500 ...

ISA '04 Help

OK, i've configured SCVNC to work w/ a dlink router with multiple support techs. I've since moved to a new office/position to which i'd like to bring Remote Support, and they're using a ISA '04 server/firewall. I don't have too much experience (re: none  ) w/ ISA. However i've been scouring ...
