Update after more testing:

Test with a friend, Me=viewer 1.0.2 / win98 (same as before)
Remote=SC / XP SP2 on Dell laptop / screen 1024 x 768+ 32 bit color / wifi / dsl

Tried to reproduce problem by choosing mouse pointer "3D Bronze" and Fast User Switching=ON. Connection good, only error ...

webpage animated, animated icons / mouse pointer 3d at partner side ?
could break the connection,
no problem with tabbed_vncviewer
I think more and more possible 3d pointer or animated pointers problem.

Now trying same SC with another friend having XP. Need to wait for Tuesday to reach SC remote ...

Probably yes, I dont know for certain but it is "out of the box default" install. I saw the machine one time in person, noticed it boots directly to desktop, but that could be only 1 login account exist on machine.

Does this SC that you created work elsewhere? Perhaps a different location. I have seen some isps just not pass the port traffic. :idea: Meaning there is nothing wrong with your setup it just will not work for that location.

After connection from remote host to viewer, I receive first black screen for ~40 seconds, then screen updates with remote host desktop. After this remote desktop does not transmit updates anymore. I see only remote desktop in same appearance as when connection started. (even the clock is not ...
