That makes sense, thanks. In our previous solution before Windows 7 we were using a VBScript to prompt the user prior to making the outbound connection. In our new Windows 7 solution which uses a Java program we run into the Session 0 issue with the Java user prompt not being seen. I will explore ...

Did you ever figure out a solution for this? I have the same issue on Windows7 as I start VNC from a BAT file that is started from a Java program. VNC goes into Session 0 so the viewer cannot see the desktop.
